About Mike Corcoran
Rep. Michael George Corcoran, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 77) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first term in November 2002. Rep. Corcoran is a fire protection sprinkler fitter with the Local 268 Union in St. Louis.
Rep. Corcoran is a former survey crew chief for James Engineering. He also served on the Board of Alderman for the City of St. Ann, from 1993 to 1996, where he served as budget chair. He has also served as Airport Township committeeman since 1996. Rep. Corcoran is a member of Holy Trinity Parish Catholic Church and the St. Louis County Central Committee.
Rep. Corcoran was awarded the 2004 Legislator of the Year by the Urban Public Safety and Workforce Development and received a Certificate of Appreciation in 2004 by North County Incorporated.
A 1981 graduate of Pattonville Senior High School, Rep. Corcoran attended Florissant Valley and St. Louis Community Colleges.
Born January 25, 1963, in St. Louis, Rep. Corcoran is a widower. He currently lives in St. Ann with his two children: George M. Corcoran III and Patrick K. Corcoran.
